Accredited Security Consultants
The programme recognises qualifying security professionals as Accredited Security Consultants (“ASCs”).
ASCs are able to, inter alia, provide the following security consultancy services professionally and effectively:
– Threat, Vulnerability, Risk Assessment (“TVRA”)
– Security Audits
– Security-by-Design (“SBD”)
– Security Consultancy for Outcome-Based Contracts and Tenders (“OBCs” and “OBTs”)
In order to obtain recognition as an ASC, aspiring security professionals have to meet a variety of criteria relating to the depth of their expertise, as well as experience in providing consultancy services. Applicants to the ASC may also have to pass a rigorous entrance examination before being accredited.
