Function of SCAP
Under SCAP, security professionals are accredited as providers of security consultancy services. Such services range from security audits and risk assessments of properties, and advisory services on security operations for large scale events, to planning for and designing security measures for properties under development.
The programme further supports the objectives of the Security Industry Transformation Map, in particular regards to the national drive to adopt Outcome-Based Contracts and Tenders for security services.
Through accreditation under SCAP, security professionals are guaranteed to possess the requisite qualifications and expertise to offer security consultancy to prospective clients.
